Andre Ghanimeh is a Catering and Cloud Kitchens expertise Culinary Advisor working in UAE for more than 15 years with different catering companies.
Today, Chef Ghanimeh specializes in modern rustic Mediterranean cooking and is known for adding his fusion touch and imbibing flavours from Greek and Lebanon.
Born in Lebanon in 1982, Andre Ghanimeh started his career as a Culinary Instructor chef in 2002, teaching Mediterranean culinary classes (theory and technically ) with the famous Chef Ramzi Choueiri CEO of "Ecole hotelier" Mansourieh Lebanon and then graduated in hospitality kitchen 2004 with honors.
With a strong passion towards the kitchen and all its aspects, and a profound love for food preparation industry he pursued his studies in CLET University Lebanon in " Food processing Health & Safety " trained and skilled himself in different Lebanese factories for wine, sugar, milk products, poultry and meat factories.
2004 He joined a worldwide Eurocast Cookware range called "Berghoff" originates from Belgium and became the Pioneer of the Cooking Service Department by creating a simplified manual for the usage of the pots.
Traveled from North to South of Lebanon and extended his training by visiting more than 250 Lebanese houses allowing the clients to feel confident applying the Lebanese traditional cooking in a healthy way without affecting the authentic taste of the dishes.
2006 moved to Intercontinental Phonecia hotel Lebanon to work in the most authentic Gastronomic restaurant in Lebanon "Eau de Vie" well-known to its exclusive event space, with a stunning sea views from this 11th-floor of the hotel, worked in different sections (cold and Hot) with expertise chefs who had only one aim to deliver the best flavors in classical and modern dishes with an exceptional paring of ingredients makes this place a unique experience and has become one of Middle East's most lauded restaurants.
2007 left his country Lebanon and traveled to Dubai, UAE and joined Intercat-Cateriya hospitality (catering, banqueting and food service) one of the most respected and trusted names in the UAE market, providing food for several market segments such as Hospitality (five and four star hotels) | Business & Industry (manufacturing, construction companies)| Educational Institutions | Defense (army and police) | Government Entities.
Have been involved in Banquet department division for private functions for corporate, weddings and individual events.
From 500 pax "A La Carte" set menu in a limited small kitchen restaurant to 50.000 meals daily in a huge kitchen , Chef Andre and with his divergent new role gained him experience and extensive knowledge of " The Bulk Cooking Industry" hospitality in UAE market , allowing him to go deep into most of the international cuisine recipes and produce so many dishes from different part of the world ( North & South Indian, Pakistani, Bangladesh, Srilankan, Nepali, Philippine, Africa, China, Middle East , Indonesia ...) and working with different department heads ensuring the best quality, quantity of food with a smart profitable costing.
He has leaded successfully a large and multinational workforce of 200 + Chefs through all aspects of employee life cycle, including recruitment, training and development.
Furthermore he had developed and maintained a good business relationship with his existing clients from different positions " General manager , Director of HR, Executive Chef, Executives House keeping , Hygiene officer" in hotels and executives sectors in All UAE, Qatar and KSA, by proactively providing them the best customer and food service for their junior associates who run the hotel operation.
He continued growing with the same company for 15 years mobilization more than 5 kitchens and successful projects between Dubai, Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
2022 he moved to another leading company GAG , Ghassan Aboud Group a multinational conglomerate engaged in several key business sectors inducing FMCG, Healthcare, Retails ( Grandiose supermarkets a leader in the market in sustainability and a super key of choice), Catering / Banqueting divisions , headquartered in the UAE.
The Group was listed by Forbes and different newspaper as the top 100 family businesses in the Middle East.
He implemented and developed kitchen performance and standard recipes throughout the entire operation and boosted the capacity of the kitchen from 7000 meals daily up to 25000 meals in less than 1 year.
At the same time he established workflow policies and enhanced speed and efficiency without compromising product safety and integrity.
He became expert in keeping abreast of trends and developments in the industry sush as menus trends in consumer tastes.
Now he is on new mission with different consultancy companies since it's the new trend in the market requirement, assisting them in building different affordable smart cloud kitchens based on the clients budget to simplify food delivery by working closely with different suppliers in term of heavy and light equipment and in customizing the best kitchen flow with adhering to all UAE laws, health & safety environmental policies industry.
