THE AMBASSADORS OF TASTE FOR THE GLOBAL GASTRONOMY® “4th ANNUAL GLOBAL LEADERS OF GASTRONOMY SUMMIT” PROVES A HUGE SUCCESS FOR THE ENTIRE CULINARY WORLD

The Global Leaders of Gastronomy Summit organized by the AMBASSADORS OF TASTE FOR THE GLOBAL GASTRONOMY® is a first of its kind event in the world. Redeveloped in 2021, the Global Leaders of Gastronomy Summit creates pathways for discussing and evolving innovative strategies and creative solutions which solve issues that affect the future of world taste & gastronomy.

More than 300 attendees from all over the world joined this one of a kind conference held in Athens, Greece on the 12th of July, 2022 at the Megaron «The Athens Concert Hall». Together, they enjoy an almost 5 hours in duration unique venue where inspiring speeches and interesting conversations took place. This global event was successfully carried out under the Auspices of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, the Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality of the City of Athens while it received the thorough support of strategic partners alike the Grand Hyatt Athens.

This Summit was a two (2) days - certified members-only event, designed specifically to host the most renowned chefs of the seven continents, with the second day including a press conference at the Grand Hyatt Athens (key advocate of the event) and a closing ceremony with a grand reception with culinary delights and fine wines by the pool of the luxurious hotel.

Authentic World Taste® AWT certified companies attended the summit: AQUA Carpatica and EvLOGIMENO Nistisimo.
 
At this point we ought to mention the presentation of Mr. George Georgantas, Minister of Rural Development and Food - Hellenic Republic with the Golden Spiral of Ambassadors of Taste for the Global Gastronomy® as a symbolism for the intensification of state efforts and Greek Taste Beyond Borders® GTBB Organization, concerning the awareness campaign for the Greek Gastronomy.
 
The Presentation of the Flame with the Golden Spiral (emblem) of the AMBASSADORS OF TASTE FOR THE GLOBAL GASTRONOMY® was granted to the leaders of world taste. Actually, this global organization’s certification is proven to be and considered as the top honour for Chefs and other entities connected with high-end gastronomy in the world. It is the Gold Medal of the AMBASSADORS OF TASTE FOR THE GLOBAL GASTRONOMY®!

This year's summit celebrated gastronomy & taste innovations and partnerships that enhance growth and sustainability within international context. At the same time it explored scientific ways of overcoming key challenges in the Food & Beverage industry. The Global Leaders of Gastronomy Summit also marks the fourth consecutive year of the inspired Global Taste Conference with the life motto “taste unites the world” showcasing a list of the most important issues that arise in the modern field of taste & gastronomy.

La crème de la crème of culture & taste from all over the world where present at this meeting, offering their insights about the new trends of their field, all coming together in a synergy of mastery and excellence that AMBASSADORS OF TASTE FOR THE GLOBAL GASTRONOMY® Organization, knows how to offer.

Two panels of experts provided a foundation on which participants built rich discussion exploring the impacts and pros and cons of gastronomic trends and its future. Much of the conversation at the summit centered on Sustainable Gastronomy, the Preservation of Culinary Heritage of all Nations, the Authenticity of Local Tastes, the need for Unity among Nations, the Safeguarding of Biodiversity and Natural Environment, Food Waste – Water and Food access to all Nations, Humanitarian Actions, Initiatives against the Climate Change and the Knowledge Transfer to the Next Generations.
 
They all shared an exciting future for world gastronomy and the understanding of the AMBASSADORS OF TASTE FOR THE GLOBAL GASTRONOMY® values ​​and its great responsibilities lying upon them.

Final keynote of the day was given by Mr. Philip Koutras, Founder of Ambassadors of Taste for the Global Gastronomy® Organization who spoke about the clear passion and emotion in the culinary world and the need for unity of all cultures in one, always retaining local traditions and authenticity. It was inspiring to hear his speech!

It is noteworthy to mention the significant presence of the AUTHENTIC WORLD TASTE® AWT at the banners display of the Summit.  AUTHENTIC WORLD TASTE® AWT is a top-tier level organization recognized for its dominant certification - awards in the food industry. Candidly speaking the AWT's highly valued marks gives the market leaders an edge.
