As an executive chef from Greece, my culinary journey has taken me across borders, blending Mediterranean flavors with global influences to create dishes that go beyond just food—they tell a story. With over a decade of experience in the kitchen, I've had the honor of working in some of the most prestigious culinary environments, from the sun-kissed shores of Greece to the majestic mountains of Austria. Each new kitchen, ingredient, and culture has shaped the way I approach food, making it a deeply personal and creative expression.
Currently, I am proud to be a part of the world-renowned Stanglwirt, a heritage-rich hotel nestled in the heart of the Tyrol region. It's a place where luxury meets tradition, and the warmth of the Family Houser makes every guest feel like part of something special. Here, I've honed my skills while staying true to my Greek roots, creating dishes that blend the hearty, earthy qualities of Austrian cuisine with the vibrant, bold flavors of the Mediterranean.
But my culinary journey didn't start there. It began with my mother and grandmother, whose cooking philosophies taught me to always respect the ingredients. My mother believed that true health comes from what we choose to nourish both our bodies and minds with, and my grandmother's kitchen was always filled with the aroma of fresh herbs and spices. These memories have instilled in me a love for local, seasonal produce and a passion for using food to bring people together, no matter where they come from.
As a chef and consultant, I specialize in private dining experiences, menu design, and food events that not only taste great but are crafted with a focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. My vision is to share the treasures of Greek culture with the world, opening wide the blue and white windows of Greece and letting the world breathe in the aromas of our rich history, vibrant art, and delectable cuisine.
I am also working on a documentary that will explore the intersection of different culinary traditions, bridging cultures through food. My goal is to show how food can bring people together, regardless of background, religion, or culture.
