ELIE LTEIF | Renowned Chef, Culinary Advisor for Nestle UAE & Oman and Representative for UAE, Dubai | is announced as an official AMBASSADOR OF TASTE FOR THE GLOBAL GASTRONOMY® GOLD MEDALLIST 2022 


Born in Lebanon in 1983, Elie Ltief started his career as a chef in 2001, then graduated as a hospitality kitchen and pastry artist in 2004 with honors. With a strong passion towards the kitchen and all its aspects, and a profound love for food preparation; he started working in the French cuisine working for international brand such as "Le bistro de Beirut" & "Entrecote de Paris" then moved to the "Buddha Bar" International chain, joining the pre-opening team as a Chef de partie. Passionate about more than 12 types of cuisines, the chef tends to create menus and theme night that mixes various tastes. He has great experience in pre-opening projects between Hotels, catering, and restaurants. 

The Chef's mission goes along with the core values of Ambassadors of Taste for the Global Gastronomy® organization & guide, such us: "Achievement of a sustainable gastronomy","Cultural heritage preservation", "Environmental sustainability", "Humanitarian aid" and need for "Unity and peace" 

This official award is considered as the top honor for Chefs and other entities connected with high-end gastronomy, in the world.

The global organization & guide AMBASSADORS OF TASTE FOR THE GLOBAL GASTRONOMY® certified & awarded Mr. Elie Lteif with the honorary title of AMBASSADORS OF TASTE FOR THE GLOBAL GASTRONOMY® Gold Medal 2022 for his dedication in sustainable gastronomy and for his succesful career in the culinary world.

Chef  Elie Ltief will Participate in the 4th Annual Global Taste Conference of Ambassadors of Taste for the Global Gastronomy® | Athens Greece 2022, July 12 at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall and join the leaders of gastronomy worldwide. 


2005 Moved to le Royal hotel Lebanon, a 5-star hotel chain as a chef de partie where I got promoted in 3 years to a Jr. Sous chef handling banqueting, room service, royal lounges and a club.

2008 Administrators hospitality management as a Executive chef, working on preopening projects of "Le Noir" as a french asian cuisine and catering, then "Seccar Nabet" , as a modern Lebanese cuisine.

2010 Executive Chef at thena group, part of the pre opening team handling the operation and catering for events, weddings, private jets meal plans.

2012 Executive Chef / Partner at pomme de ciel catering handling the operation and catering for events, weddings.

2013 Moving to Dubai, as an Executive chef for Cedar Dining hospitality management leading a team of 120 chef for the pre-opening of 7 outlets and a central kitchen, serving International, Modern Lebanese and Italian cuisines, along with a massive catering operation.

2016 Pre-opening of Metropolitan boutique hotel, under the Habtoor Group as an executive chef, handling all of the 6 outlets including the pub, the sushi bar, the banqueting, italian restaurant, the all day dining and room service.

2017 Executive Chef at Nassima Royal Hotel, a 5-star hotel, converted to Voco hotel Dubai, under IHG group management part of the pre-opening team of the first Voco brand in the middle east handling the kitchen operation supervising 78 working staff throughout 6 outlets, the room service and the banqueting.

2020 In order to grow, I decided to move to a corporate environment by joining Nestle Professional as a Culinary advisor.
