  • Internationally acclaimed Swiss Executive Chef Guy Ravet joins Ambassadors of Taste for the Global Gastronomy® organization & guide 


Guy Ravet (Represenative for Switzerland & World Gastronomy) is an internationally acclaimed Swiss executive chef with extensive experience in high-end gastronomy.

After graduating from the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, Guy Ravet went to work in Paris for Alain Ducasse and in New York City for Thomas Keller at Per Se. He came back home in 2007, working for 15 years as the chef in his family Michelin star restaurant.  Guy Ravet is currently the Executive Chef for 5 Star and Relais & Châteaux Grand Hôtel du Lac in Vevey. He is also the President of the "Grandes Tables Suisses" Association regrouping around 70 of the best chefs in Switzerland.

Guy Ravet stated “My kitchen focuses on taste, respecting traditions with a modern twist. I'm using mostly Swiss produce to show our guests that what we have just around us are the best products in the world. As a President of Grandes Tables Suisses, my vision is to bring chefs together so that we can go further. Alone you go fast, but as a group you go further.”
